APPEARANCE

Hikari is a young, male gyrfalcon, standing two feet tall. His body is a startling white with dark banding on his tail and wings. Dark markings above his eyes give him a perpetually serious expression.

BACKGROUND: The gyrfalcons of the Land of Snow have long used jutsu to survive the difficulties of life on the tundra. Hikari was born into a society of the birds of prey which prize, above all else, the strength and the talent of their hunters. When he showed a particular aptitude, both physically and mentally, to bring in fresh kills, he was trained from an early age to do just that. For years now, Hikari has been regarded by the falcons as one of their finest hunters and a potential future chief. The bird himself is aware of this, and has perhaps let that fact go to his head a little too much. Talented as he is, some of the other birds have wondered about his ability to lead. A few of them have even started to move against Hakari in the shadows of their glacier home.

After Arata Namikaze stole a summoning scroll from the Fire Temple, Hikari was summoned from the Land of Snow to the strange, humid woods of the Land of Fire. He initially attacked his summoner, perceiving him as an enemy, but the two quickly gained a mutual respect for each others' speed and battlefield instincts. While Hikari was still skeptical of Arata's penchant for walking everywhere--as well as his distaste for mice and other delicious treats--he hesitantly agreed to appear whenever Arata calls him into battle...Provided, of course, that Arata gives him something truly challenging to hunt. Their summoning contract is one of mutual benefit for now, and Hikari hopes to influence the young Namikaze into eliminating some of his own enemies back in the snowy lands he calls home.

For every 10 power this jutsu has, you add 1 to one of their statistics, or half as much to two of their statistics (rounded up), ignoring statistic caps.
