BACKGROUND: Kuromaru, oft called the Bracken Warlord for his nomadic ways and propensity to arrive on any battlefield unannounced, is a killer through and through. He fought during the war from the age of thirteen, but not for the sake of his kin, nor the sake of the Land of Water. He fought because he reveled in the killing. He reveled in the violence, and took pleasure in combing battlefields to find those who were too wounded to flee, and kill them.
Kuromaru's desire to hunt and kill even drove him to adopt a more nomadic lifestyle, whilst the rest of the Kaguya were content to return to the Land of Water. Occasionally, Kuromaru does return there, but only to search for a place he may one day call his own from which he may lead an organization of mercenaries.
The only love Kuromaru feels aside from killing, is the coin. And given that he has found those willing to pay him to kill, Kuromaru is seldom without his two life passions. He hoards away his wealth, with which he plans to use to build his intended organization. He has long forgotten the faces of his parents, and doesn't care to search for possible siblings. Instead, he seeks greater challenges in his enemies, so that he may savor their demise. And why not get paid for his trouble along the way?
As with many of the Kaguya, Kuromaru was raised in an environment where power meant everything. Those who were born with the Kekkei Genkai, like Kuromaru, were particularly harshly judged and treated, and his parents were no exception to this. His parents were born without ever manifesting the Shikotsumyaku, and saw Kuromaru's inheritance as their means for greater status. He was raised to feel no compassion for those he faced in battle, but this spilled over into his everyday life as well. Eventually, Kuromaru realized that because of his power, he didn't have to obey, and slew both of his parents.
This act was not punished, but embraced by other members of the Kaguya as necessary for Kuromaru to rise up. This might makes right mentality has left a permanent mark on how interacts with virtually all he encounters. But it was in killing his parents that Kuromaru discovered his love of the coin. Whatever he wanted, he could use his power to take. Whatever his power couldn't overcome, he could purchase. Having lived in squalor, it was the shine, the glint of jewels and coins that fed his newfound greed.
And as a Hozuki pirate once claimed to the young man: "With enough coin, you can have anything. Ships, men, women, loyalty, and even countries. You can buy anything; and if the seller says no, kill them and take their coin too."

Also known as the 'Dead Bone Pulse', the Kaguya clan are blessed with the unique ability to manipulate and mass produce their own bones. You can use the following abilities:
Once per thread, a single taijutsu of B-Rank or lower that you know gains the Piercing effect. (It cannot obtain the Piercing Effect twice.)
Once per thread, you summon a weapon of bone as a short action. Your next three taijutsu jutsu deal an additional +2x damage, and also count as bukijutsu.

Extending their bones in self defense, a Kaguya is able to protect themselves from damage.
