APPEARANCE

- Above average height at approximately 6 feet or 184 centimeters

- Medium to thin build with an athletic but not muscular frame

- Both parents had light brown hair, one with brown eyes the other with a red hue to the brown

- Due to a mutated gene, born with pure white hair and more pronounced red eyes like that of an albino of other creatures in the wild, but more tanned skin instead of pale

- A large scar in the shape of a lightning bolt spread across his upper face and the bridge of his nose, crossing from above one eye and ending under the opposite

- Dresses in what looks like a mixture of formal attire with a more typical tracksuit for both comfort and style, with a red and black color theme trimmed with gold.

- Is sometimes seen wearing a far more formal looking attire with a long form coat of the same color design as his normal attire, wrapped with a red sash.This particular outfit is somewhat loose fitting as it's a size too big.

BACKGROUND:

    Pride in ones self can be far stronger than that of ones pride in their family, their village, their country of origin even, especially when you feel it's the only pride important or left to grab a hold of. At a young age, much like most in his clan, Masshiro showed himself adept at Genjutsu, but no more than those he shared blood with, if not less so than those his age. He was poor in regards to athletics, showed a low aptitude for ninjutsu and taijutsu alike, and while he wasn't at all frail, he was still smaller than his peers even as he grew taller.

    None of the things he couldn't do stopped him from trying with all the grace and coordination of a two-legged horse, showing his resilience and determination. Unfortunately for both of his parents it was nothing they could find equal pride in, putting expectations on the young boy's shoulders where none needed to be placed with no importance to their family within the clan. It wasn't as if either of his parents were highly regarded more than others, but they wanted more for him, to put their wishes, their dreams that they were either unable to or too lazy when they were younger to fulfill.

    At the young age of eleven they were ready to give up, but Masshiro's uncle convinced his parents to let him come and stay with him, leaving not only his village, but the country on the whole and move with him to a neighboring country. With his mother expecting they were far too willing, with a complete lack of empathy, to let their son leave, perhaps permanently, starting a new life. This new life was one the young Karuma dreaded, as he had rarely seen or talked to this uncle of his, assuming him to be much like his father without his mother to at least dull his sharp tongue, but to his surprise he was gentle, understanding, helpful, uplifting, all things he wasn't sure how to respond to.

    Growing up in this far more nurturing environment instilled in his the value of not trying to let others imprint on you, but to lean into his strengths and embrace his weaknesses for what they were. In only a few short years he could at least competently throw a punch, throw a kunai even, but he was winning no fists fights. In that same span he had learned he had a lightning affinity which up to that point he was unaware of, which was a major leap regardless of the minimal nature of his abilities to use it. His genjutsu however had shown a proficiency that was more appropriate to those of his clan, and far beyond impressive for one of his age, finally showing itself as his specialty even more so than he himself had expected and one his new village were more than willing to take full advantage of in time.

As he got older, mature into a young man, his strengths became stronger and his weaknesses were overlooked given the nature of his strength, and along with his looks that made him stand out in near any crowd, he was getting attention from his elders in the village and those of his peers from ever angle. His pride was the crutch holding him upright under the weight of his parents constant berating comments and pressure to improve, but now it was a sword he wielded, as he grew to realize just what he was capable of. He knew he was an attractive young man and had no problems flaunting that fact, and he knew how strong his abilities were and had no issues letting the fact be known if someone were to ask.

    If there was a mission to undertake he was going to step past the line in order to take it, but regardless of the circumstances he would make a point of doing it his way. If the mission called for stealth he simply made those he was against believe he was stealthy, and if a letter needed delivering he would make sure it was perceived to be the grandest of spectacles even with truly mundane circumstances.

    Some of his peers were already trying to advance to higher ranks, but his attitude had held him back just enough to make him too valuable to lecture and write off as his parents had, though his persistence in wanting to do it his way and only his own way kept him where he was. No doubt reality would catch up to him in a serious and unfortunate way given the world they lived in, but it would take that to change his nature let alone his demeanor, shinobi life or otherwise.
