BACKGROUND:
With great power comes great responsibility, and there was hardly any responsibility greater than the role of an elder brother. Increase this by a factor of 4, and your end result is Junpei Hatake, the first son of Jounichi and Sekka, elder brother to Jirou, Jimbe, Jana and Juri.
At first, while he was an only child, Junpei was rather meek and timid, never really saying or doing all that much. Barely— if ever— acting out, didn’t get into situations that would get himself harmed, and in general was quite introverted, finding himself more interested in reading books and scrolls than playing outside. Oftentimes, said books and scrolls contained information on medicine and medical practices, and Junpei found fascination with it all very early on in his life, but absolutely lacked the confidence to put anything he learned into practice.
His parents noticed their boy’s mannerisms and while supportive of his hobbies were kind of worried for his growth as a person if he had little interaction with others. However, upon the birth of his first sibling; Jirou, Junpei began to change. Junpei had swiftly been instilled with a sense of responsibility. He didn’t want to endanger himself, sure, but even in the mere moments after the birth of his first sister he wanted nothing more than to keep her out of danger. Any time Jirou was in distress and his parents were not able to tend to her, Junpei was there to calm her. Every time she was injured or ill, even when their parents were present, he voiced the need to tend to her himself— it was in doing so that his talent with medical ninjutsu came into play, completely astonishing their parents.
Despite the rumbles of war across the land, another sibling was born into the family; this time it was a boy; Jimbe, and Junpei took to being his protector in the same way he did for Jirou. Now much more confident than ever before, Junpei was no longer so introverted, only mildly reserved. He began to play with others around his age within the bounds of Hatake territory. Junpei also became friends with some kids from closely neighboring clans. In addition to this, the Hatake were allied with yet another clan that was a bit further out than the others. The clan in question was the Hyuga; a revered noble clan. Junpei didn’t really know what that meant but his parents said the Hyuga were very important friends to the Hatake clan, and that was good enough for the boy.
Junpei wanted to visit, but unfortunately that would be quite risky without protection for a boy his age; and his immediate family wasn’t exactly far up in the Hatake hierarchy so resources were unlikely to be given up for the request of naught but a child.
While the young Junpei got moody over it, not all was lost. As luck would have it; the Hyuga people he was so excited to one day meet would end up coming to him. The leader of the Hyuga had come to Hatake territory to visit and meet with the head of the clan Junpei had no idea why exactly, but his parents did say the Hyuga clan was friendly to theirs, so he had no reason to question what was essentially a wish come true for him. As the Hyuga group passed through their lands, they had stalled by Junpei’s family house as he was playing outside with Jirou while their parents tended to Jimbe out on the front porch. There was a little girl with snow white hair running to catch up with the group since she was curious about the area having not been here before.
Disaster struck however, and she suddenly tripped! Without even so much as a second thought or the blink of an eye, Junpei rushed to her aid, quickly cleaning her wound with a disinfectant napkin before using his healing ninjutsu on her grazed knee. Some of the Hyuga guards were on edge as the girl was the clan leader’s daughter, but said leader raised a hand to get them to stand down— they were in friendly territory after all, and this little boy was oh so very kind, and acted on pure instinct no less. This kind of person was what the future definitely needed. Out of politeness, the Hyuga leader elected to take a small break at the modest home, which allowed Junpei to get to know the girl that he helped, learning her name was Hoshiko. Before long they were good friends, and whenever another similar visit rolled around, the Hyuga convoy took the same path, both by decree of their leader and at the request of the heiress as well.
As time went by, a pair of newborn identical twins would be welcomed into Junpei’s family; two more girls, Jana and Juri. While Junpei was more than capable of taking care of Jirou, Jimbe and now these two, he was but one boy— and not nearly old enough to properly juggle taking care of four siblings, so outside of medical ninjutsu, he made a request of his parents— to teach him what skills they knew, and it was here that Junpei was taught the art of the Hatake Hiden - White Light, as well as some rudimentary skills such as wall climbing and water-walking, and one more advanced technique; the Shadow Clone Jutsu. While hard to master, Junpei eventually got the hang of it in a few months of dedicated training so that he could maintain more than a single copy of himself!
Many more years went by until the end of the war, and in the ensuing four years of tense peace, Junpei— now a grown man of 24 years old— had made something of a name for himself in reference to his medical prowess and cunning, at least among his own clan. Though he did not see it so much in his youth, he now knew well enough the harshness and reality of war, and with certainty now had the power to do something about it...
It would now become his goal to ease the pain, tend to the grisly wounds left behind by conflict, and cure the world of the sickness that is hatred.

Description: This technique involves focusing a fixed amount of chakra to the bottom of one's feet, and using that to climb solid without using one's hands or climbing equipment. If the stream of chakra is too weak, the user will lose their footing on the surface and fall off. If it is too strong, the user will be pushed away from the surface, causing the surface to be damaged around the point of contact and the user will fall.

Description: This technique involves focusing chakra to the bottom of ones feet. The amount of chakra that needs to be emitted changes constantly so the user has to be emitting a constant stream of chakra from the bottom of their feet and using the repellent force to walk across the water's surface. Too little and the user will sink, too much and the user will greatly disturb the water's surface. Additionally, a user under water can focus chakra on their hands or any other body part that makes contact with the surface of the water. If they were submerged, they can climb atop the water as if they were climbing out of a pool.

[This technique uses 5 Chakra Points. Instead of dealing damage, the jutsu’s power (5x[Ninjutsu]) stays on its target. Whenever they use a jutsu, its power is reduced by what would have been the damage, no more than halving its power. The fuinjutsu decreases by the same amount, and fades when it reaches 0. While affected, targets cannot benefit from their Speed stat. If this jutsu defeats a defensive jutsu, its power will not be lowered after, as if the defensive jutsu was never in the way (except for any potential damage interaction effects).]

[This technique uses 10 Chakra Points. Escapes for 10x[Ninjutsu+Speed] using yang. This jutsu will not dodge attacks made before you use it. By using this jutsu, you attempt to escape the thread you are currently in, even if it's an Action or Event thread. Unless someone targets you with an attack of power greater than this jutsu's before your next post, you escape. If you use it as a long action instead of a short action, its power increases by +5x.]

Name: Kage Bunshin no Jutsu [Shadow Clone Technique]

Description: This is a Ninjutsu technique that utilizes expert level chakra control to create a Bunshin clone. Unlike a normal Bunshin, the Kage Bunshin has the ability to interact more with the environment due to it having physical substance. This allows the clone to carry out attacks on its target. Also, these clones can think, but only on the rudimentary level, and the concentration for their jutsu needs to be maintained by the user. When this clone disperses, it simply evaporates in a puff of smoke. Clones made by this technique can use all techniques available to the user, but disperse if they use too much chakra.
[As a short action, for no chakra cost, you create up to three clones. Your current Health, maximum Health, current Chakra, maximum Chakra, and Chakra Regeneration are divided evenly between yourself and however many clones you choose to create (rounding down to a minimum of 1). Each clone has a long and short action, knows all the same jutsu as you, is controlled by you, and may act independently of each other. Track each one’s health and chakra. While you have clones active, neither you nor your clones may use any clone jutsu.
If a clone reaches 0 health, or is otherwise defeated, they disappear in a puff of smoke. This jutsu ends when all clones are defeated, when you are defeated, or when you end it yourself as a short action (this will remove any remaining clones but cannot be done if the clones have been active for fewer than 5 posts). When this jutsu ends, your maximum Health, maximum Chakra, and Chakra Regeneration all return to normal, and your current Health and Chakra become the sums of the Health and Chakra of yourself and your clones when the jutsu ends. Clones that were defeated before the jutsu ended do not contribute to these sums. However, if a clone takes damage without being defeated, or they take a short action to dispel themselves if they’ve been active for at least 5 posts, you can choose to make them disappear in a puff of smoke, making their health and chakra return to you (not any of the other clones) prematurely.]
