Hōzuki Clan members are a quirky clan that have a close relation to water; this is present in their innate Water Release affinity and their ability to turn into water themselves! Ordinarily members of this Clan are fishermen but some high ranking members of this clan work out of the famous Hōzuki Castle as prison guards or become shinobi.
Clan Features
[BASE] HYDRIFICATION: The Hōzuki Clan have a unique kekkei genkai that allows them to turn their bodies, either partially or fully, into water to serve various purposes. The most prominent advantage of this is that it allows them to slip through and away from attacks more easily.
- Twice per thread, you can use a free evasion jutsu for 10 x your Ninjutsu or Taijutsu (your choice). These jutsu count as Earth when attacking, defending or evading, for damage type interactions, though flavorfully they are still water-based.
[BASE] WHIRLPOOL WINNER: The Hozuki clan have an intricate connection with water, as such one of your starting affinities must be Water Release. Members of the Hozuki clan can use water to devastating effect with direct and timed manipulation of it.
- One of your two starting affinities must be Water Release.
- Once per thread, you can use a D-Rank Water Release jutsu without spending chakra.
- Once per thread, you can apply the Delay effect to a Water Release jutsu of up to A-Rank.
