A clan of reclusive hermits from the desert sands, the Jūgo Clan are one of many that reside in the Land of Wind. Descended from the Sage of Wind himself, they carry in their blood an innate, subconscious skill with senjutsu chakra rivaling the Otsutsuki Clan themselves. Unlike their distant relatives the Otsutsuki however, the Jūgo are unable to control their use of senjutsu. Slowly, they absorb the energy until it reaches a peak. They transform into powerful monstrous warriors, seething with reckless ambition and violent ideas.
Clan Features
[BOON] CURSED TRANSFORMATION: As a long action once per thread, when your chakra is full, you can undergo a disastrous transformation as you channel your latent senjutsu to become stronger.
- You have a separate resource called Natural Energy. You begin with natural energy equal to your NP, which is your cap. While transformed this way, all of your statistics increase by 1, and by another 1 for each rank above D you are. Your statistic caps, and associated caps (like nintaijutsu) increase by the same amount.
- Whenever you would spend chakra, such as on a jutsu, you must substitute half (rounding up) of the chakra cost with the same natural energy cost. If you do not have enough natural energy for this, it will substitute as much as it can.
- You regain natural energy by standing still. You may spend your long action to gain 3 natural energy, or your short action to gain 2.
- If you end your post with less than 1 natural energy, the transformation ends.
- You are berserk while in this state and retain little trace of your self-awareness. If you can attack, you must do so, even if only allies remain.
- For 20 XP, you can ‘train’ yourself to have some control. You must still attack, but you can now distinguish between friend and foe.
- For 30 more XP, and after you have reached B-Rank, you can ‘train’ yourself to be in full control.
[BASE] RAGE TECHNIQUES: You are capable of harnessing your specialised rage through a set of techniques called Cursed Transformation Taijutsu.
- You can apply Cursed Transformation to a taijutsu for 1 XP.
- When a Cursed Transformation Taijutsu attack deals at least 10 x their NP damage to a target, you regain a fifth of your NP as chakra. If it reduces them below 1 health, you also regain a fifth of your NP as chakra. Both may happen at once.
[BANE] AFTERBURN: When you use your transformed state, you feel its effects long after. Each time you use an attack jutsu after the Cursed Transformation ends, you must spend an additional 4 chakra. This effect lasts until the end of the thread. Each time you are healed, this chakra penalty decreases by 1, and by 1 more for each two ranks of the healing jutsu above D.
